//Xtensifi Achieves ISO 27001 Certification, Demonstrating Commitment to Data Security

Atlanta, Nov 18, 2020 – Xtensifi, a digital consulting and development firm that enables financial institutions and fintech providers to create and execute their mobile and online strategies, announced it has achieved ISO 27001 Certification, the only internationally recognized certifiable information security standard.

ISO 27001 certification demonstrates that an organization has invested in its people, processes, and technology to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all corporate data. It also demonstrates that an organization has identified risks, assessed the implications and put in place systemized controls to limit any damage to the organization. The benefits of obtaining this certification are increased reliability and security of systems and information, and therefore, customer and partner confidence.

To obtain this certification, organizations much undergo an extensive audit process that examines the organization’s information security risks. Additionally, the organization must design and implement a coherent and comprehensive suite of information security controls to address those risks that are deemed unacceptable, and adopt an overarching management process to ensure that the information security controls continue to meet the organization’s information security needs on an ongoing basis.

“As the industry digitizes further, a common standard and operating framework for sharing financial data is imperative,” said George Kelley, Chief Executive Officer of Xtensifi. “It also helps free us to focus efforts where it matters most – protecting our fintech clients’ intellectual property and providing fintech innovation to our financial institution clients.”
