– Offers credit unions increased agility; faster time to market –

ATLANTA , March 27, 2018 – Xtensifi, a digital consulting firm that enables financial institutions to create and execute their mobile and online strategies, announced it has joined with Constellation Digital Partners (Raleigh, N.C.), a leading credit union service organization (CUSO), to develop and release its ground-breaking open development platform for digital banking.

The first release of the platform, Aquarius, was completed in eight months following creation of Constellation. The platform will provide an online marketplace for application developers and credit unions to collaborate and more rapidly introduce innovative services to credit union members.

Two additional software releases are scheduled to take place this year that will extend the services of the Constellation platform and include new capabilities, features and functions for financial technology developers, credit unions and members.

The new cloud-based platform is deployed on Amazon Web Services and provides credit unions with greater levels of flexibility to select, tailor and introduce new digital banking services to members inside a secure digital banking experience supporting iOS, Android and browser-based footprints.

“Our platform helps credit unions overcome the inherent challenges associated with legacy systems,” said Kristopher Kovacs, CEO of Constellation. “Xtensifi has been instrumental in putting our strategy into action, helping us architect and build our solution with a degree of scalability and extensibility that legacy providers simply cannot match.”

Investors in Constellation and Xtensifi started working together four years ago on technology planning, applications development and systems design projects. Constellation was then formed, having raised approximately $26 million from associated credit unions to fund this effort.

“Constellation is positioned to revolutionize the digital financial landscape and Aquarius is truly unique in the market as it provides credit unions with significantly more direct control over their digital platform than they have ever had before, increasing the number of options for introducing new capabilities and accelerating speed to market for new products and services – positioning Constellation credit unions to better meet the needs and expectations of their members,” said Brandon Kunz, EVP and General Manager of Xtensifi.
